ANF occupies a unique position in the city centres of France’s two biggest provincial cities: Lyons and Marseilles.
ANF profi ts from the buoyancy of the Lyons market where the Presqu’île is the most sought-after district. In Marseilles, Rue de la République is at the heart of the city’s economic activity as the major thoroughfare between the historic Vieux-Port and Euroméditerranée, the new development zone at Place de la Joliette.
Since 2005, ANF has been implementing a strategy based on increasing asset value by improving the value of its properties and, consequently, growing its cash flow.
The quality of the property estate and its location were justifi cation for implementing an in-depth upgrading programme starting in 2005.
This work consists of high quality façade renewals, overhauling the lobbies and staircases and renovation of the lifts to meet anticipated standards.
Thereafter, ANF carried out its strategy of restoring its property estate and developing new projects on its existing land reserves. This strategy is expected to raise ANF’s rental income by €100 million by 2012-2014 and to very signifi cantly boost the Company’s cash flow.
